Biography
Liliya Pobornikova was born 1979 in Bulgaria. Currently living and working in Spain.
National Academy of Arts in Sofia with the focus on wood sculpture.
Member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
Participation in 94 sculpture symposiums in Austria, Argentina,
Bulgaria, Brazil, China, Cyprus, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Guatemala,
Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Latvia, Mexico, Norway, Paraguay,
Portugal, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey, Taiwan, Thailand,
USA, Vietnam. Works with different materials, including: stone, wood, metal, wax, concrete,
bronze, ceramics, ice, snow - also in land art. Her sculptures are represented in museums
in Taiwan, Denmark, Egypt and Brazil.
She received awards for her photographic work by "Highlights Magazine" and
"National Geographic Magazine", as well as various symposiums and competitions prizes.
