About Penny Burton

Hours spent drawing as a kid gave way to a career in fashion. Opening a boutique in Holmfirth in 1972, followed by Pink Cadillac in Altrincham and Huddersfield, led to a long involvement in the fashion industry where Penny was widely respected for her designs and retail flair. The story comes full circle in early 2014 when she found time to return to her love of art. Penny’s work ranges from pop art developed on an iPad to her current medium of acrylic on canvas.
