About Paula Duck
Biography
I began taking pictures at an early age and enjoyed the immediacy of creating something especially with Polaroid cameras. At 17 I was then inspired by a U2 album cover taken by Anton Corbyn to go and study photography.
In my work I try to evoke and capture a mood within my pictures, a feeling a unique moment, creating images that have impact. Every photograph I approach is a new way of seeing to define that special moment. I have a special interest in abstract street photography and love the work of Saul Leiter and Andre Cartier Bresson. I am currently undergoing a street photography project on reflection.
