About Paul Simon Hughes

  • Biography
Hi, my name is Paul,  i am  a totally self taught artist and like to experiment on a wide range of different mediums and subjects ranging from cartoon characters on skateboards to burning designs on reclaimed wood. I feel art is very expressive so why restrict ourselves to just one medium. I'm not saying it's wrong to do so, just I like to try new ways, which doesn't mean I won't use a more conventional form. I like to change, it keeps me interested and I hope it will do the same for you too. Recently I have chosen canvas to express some abstract views that have inspired me. I am open to try all forms of art, to such that I have tried felt work giving me an opportunity to "feel" what I produce.
I hope in my art you find the enjoyment and emotions that keep me inspired by this world.

Event: Coffe Arts Project - Project Waterfall

    Dates: 6 Apr 2017 - 9 Apr 2017

Venue: The Old Truman Brewery, London EC1 6QR

This is an exhibition to raise awareness to the plight of workers in Tanzania who bring us what we take for granted every day. Water is in short supply and this organisation helps to supply clean water to the farmers and and workers that is vital in the production of coffee. Artists submit works in a hope that theirs will be chosen to highlight the conditions that these people work under.
My piece was chosed as a finalist in this competiton and I hope that any money raised through the sale of this will go towards Project Waterfall.
Many thanks for your support and kind words.
Love and peace to all .
