About Paul Gurney

I am an artist, designer and illustrator. I have been a creative practitioner all of my life. I love sketching and developing the sketches into paintings or just creating finely created plein-air paintings. I love to draw and paint observationally, creating interesting interpretations of landscapes, people or animals, exploring new techniques in multiple media where possible. Sketching is the foundation of my paintings. My paintings are my eye view on experiences and views I find compelling and wish to communicate. I hope my buyers gain enjoyment from my creative output and value my creative process as part of developing a treasured possession.
