About Paramjot Kaur

I'm a self-taught artist living in Kent, England.

I have always loved to create, but I didn't like the rigid constraints of art at school. A little disillusioned, I eventually decided not to pursue an artistic career.

Art became important again at a time when the world felt its most alien to me. I began to keep a sketchbook by my side, finding catharsis in creative processes - observing, imagining, creating.

I enjoy combining realism with imagination, embedding emotion and meaning into work. I merge life-like appearances with social and emotional themes.
