Biography
I have developed my own sculpting technique through individual experimental work. I model clay, take a mold and work meticulously with thousands of metal pieces welded together to create modern figurative pieces of great expressiveness. I am the author of numerous monuments in different parts of Argentina and have participated in multiple exhibitions as well as art fairs in the country, including the Capital, Buenos Aires. In 2018, I showed my art in Europe for the first time, at the Cervantes Institute in Cracow, Poland, accompanying a prestigious photography exhibition by Mario Muchnik, one of the most renowned argentine editors in the world.
As a figurative artist, my main focus is to express the movement of the human and animal body. I often create synthesised and transformed characters, who communicate subtle movements and sensations. I bring my iron compositions to life by contrasting the natural shine of metal with a rusted or painted base. I have had success in exhibiting and selling my artwork in my home country, Argentina, both directly, through public and private commissions, as well as through art fairs and gallery events.
