    About my abstractions

    About my abstractions

    The second direction in which I can fully apply my painting abilities and unlimited imagination is abstract works, mainly made in mixed media (oil + acrylic). It is in this abstract direction that I fully realize myself as a creative person. Without changing my author's technique of casting, I pay great attention to interesting unique surface textures. Most often I use solid surfaces for my abstractions precisely because of their layering and complex textured surface. It is by mixing different mediums that I achieve a greater variety of interesting textures. I became an abstractionist for a reason. I was lucky that one of my teachers at the art school was a famous abstract artist. He taught composition with us for five years, a follower and admirer of Kandinsky. In this direction, my possibilities and fantasies are limitless. I pay a lot of attention to the development and search for new textural surfaces, the search for new shades, the study of new materials. And at the same time, each of my works is filled with semantic meaning, inspired by what feelings and events, symbolize the seasons, flowers, trees, feelings, precious stones.

    Some words about me

    I conduct my creative activity in two directions but united by one single author's technique. The first direction: urban landscapes and beautiful places of the planet, executed in oil on canvas in my author's technique by the method of clipping using a brush for detailing only in the upper layer of the painting. These works are multi-layered, according to the manner of writing they can be attributed to impressionism or realism. There are no clear brushstrokes in the writing, it is not possible to repeat such works exactly. I decompose each color into many shades that I see in reality. One-color in my original paintings can consist of 10 or more shades. I position myself precisely as a painter, far from pop art and poster painting, every year I develop my color vision.
