Biography
Olga Blazhko (born 1988, Russia) currently works and lives in Moscow, Russia.
Olga began painting since she was 5 years old and got an art education at Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry (2016-2019). She participated in several art exhibitions and continued her career as oil impressionistic artist.
Olga chose impressionism as the main style of her art because it is through impressionism that she can best reveal herself as an artist and convey her emotions and feelings from the plot!
Olga takes her greatest inspiration from nature and travel. Most of the works are painted from nature «alla prima», which helps to convey the beauty of the moments and its transience.
The task of the impressionist artist is to capture the state of nature, light, color saturation and convey it up to the viewer.
The artist admits that the highest reward for her is when the paintings find their buyer and help breathe freshness into the interior and transfer the viewer to the world of travel and bright colours.
Olga's paintings are imbued with the liveliness of the moment. In her artworks, Olga uses high quality oil paints, brushes and palette knife, which helps to create texture and a little impasto texture.
Through her art, Olga wants to show people how important it is to stop for a moment and look at the world that surrounds us. As Faust in Johann Goethe’s play said: “If ever I to the moment shall say: Beautiful moment, do not pass away!"
Olga is a member of National Pastel Society of Russia.
