  • Biography

    Olga Lomax is a Ukrainian-born British Fine contemporary artist.

    She works in a several genres from traditional to contemporary modern art.

    Trained in the tradition of classical realism, adopting Old masters techniques in her paintings, she successfully uses them in her latest selection of contemporary works.

     The artist says about her approach: “I like experimenting with different styles and techniques as I explore through drawing and colour the many moods and emotions of a painting. At the same time I have to endeavour to achieve a balance between accuracy and spontaneity. I find my inspiration while traveling around day to day, as well as worldwide experiencing other cultures and meeting interesting people. Sometimes it could just be a piece of music which inspires me”.

     Her ability to reach a harmonious balance between colour and precise draughtmanship results in the viewer being able to relate intimately to the subject, recapturing his own experiences.    

    Whenever the artist expresses herself in painting portraits, landscapes, cityscapes or still life, she does it with skill and sensitivity, successfully pushing her creative boundaries in a wide range of media.

     She is a published artist, take participation at local and international exhibitions. Her works are found in private collections in Holland, USA, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, and the UK,

    BA Hon in Fine Art.
