Looking at the series of artworks ​​by Olga Beketova, we see a vivid example of the impressionistic approach in each work, a reflection of the variability of the surrounding reality, changes in air, shadows and light, emphasizing the purity of color. The artist tries to catch the fleeting moment and capture the mood of the moment. Olga’s preferences to paint from life, brings in her first personal perception, open colors, abundance of light, literally snatching the immediacy of the moment.

Using mixed media Olga Beketova conveys fleeting beauty in a natural setting, executed in a luminous translucent technique with pure color relationships. The artist demonstrates her approach to the depiction of flowers and thus contributes to the rich tradition of flower painting, with her unique vision and creative perception. The works enchant viewers with their beauty, confirming the attraction of flowers as a subject of artistic inspiration.

Olga Beketova is a contemporary international Artist and Ambassador for Peace.

The Artist also organizes charity auctions, exhibitions (charity and commercial), art-projects.

Turning to one of the stable and consistently popular genres created in the rather distant past of “flowers and birds” (“Huanyiao”) in Chinese landscape painting, Olga Beketova in the series of works “Vintage in Gold and Silver” creates her own poetically harmonious, gentle and melancholic mood, which takes us to the world of the Garden of Eden. 

While these pieces are anchored in figurations, they are non representational or observational but are explorations of feeling awoken by the artist's search for inner meaning.

The viewers are invited to step into the artwork and experience the emotion awoken in them.
