In every city there is a monument, a fountain and a mountain. They create a unique mood of the city. I compared Lviv with Tbilisi and Yerevan. Each of them has its own unique flavor and taste. 30 years ago, I traveled to the Caucasus and wrote several small watercolor sketches. My memories of the Caucasus, the Crimea, my dreams about them inspired me to create large canvases, now with oil paints.

Helen rolls there day and night on her bicycle: morning Lviv, day Lviv, evening Lviv. There are no Opera theatre, Runok Square - it is not depended upon visitors. There are only streets and gardens, bathed in light. There are outskirts, that transfer into fields, cages with some marvelous peacocks, little sport airplanes on a runway. If you look attentively at you will see a girl dressed in red on the back of every painting. The bicycle shoots out joyfully in clear morning, rushes in midday light spots, sottly grieved in evening gloom."It is that my strange story", - says Helen, - I really roved about Lviv day and night. The light acted on me narcotic. It seemed to me, that I am flying stright on sunray, i become blurred in shop-windows, and I am seen triple in pools. Later Helen studied to paint dull correct painting but this mad feeling of flight on sunray didn't die, it silently sat somewhere at the very bottom. The little bicycle, lost in stream of light and colour.

Helen entered in the art of painting unexpectedly, dynamically and originally. This is artist of the magic field of light, and the new cycle of its linens is more interesting, devoted to nightly Lvov. Event: "Girl on a bicycle" Painting

This series of "Girl on a bicycle", based on the autobiographical memories of teenage travel by bicycle in places where passed my childhood. These are memories of a happy childhood, when I looked at the world, blinded by the bright warm sun. I hope that this attitude is transmitted to the viewer. I have chosen for this series of several colors to depict the bright shining world of childhood. Each painting, depending on the topic, has a predominantly yellow, blue, orange, pink and green colors. Fine-grained canvas, smooth as paper. Multi-layer overlaying colors. As a result, oil painting looks like a pastel.
