The first thing you have to be prepared for when you order an Oleksandr Balbyshev artwork is that you are going to take your time "unwrapping" it. Like a Russian nesting doll that goes on into infinity, Oleksandr wraps layer after layer after layer of protective material around your order and finishes it off with a professionally built and custom-fitted crate with multiple hands. This is his way of saying he took his time in not only creating your artwork, but he wrapped it like a mother would wrap a young child going out into the cold. He wants to make sure his "children" are well-protected and that no harm comes to them. Oleksandr's shipping standards are far above everyone else's in the industry and I would go so far as to say his packaging of his artworks is the best. Another thing I like about Oleksandr is his ability to take historical leaders from the Soviet Union era (Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin) and add his artistic commentary by altering their iconic images in typically unflattering ways, thereby making a political statement of the long-dead dictators. I can only hope and dream that one day, he will do the same with images of Vladimir Putin. Oleksandr is a great artist and he truly seems to enjoy his work. I will definitely buy from him again in the future.

Très content d’avoir pu accueillir cette œuvre d’Oleksandr, la deuxième de cet artiste, la première par Artfinder. Très bonne communication. Emballage très soigné : la caisse de transport est une œuvre d’art à elle toute seule ! Envoi rapide et réception rapide également, malgré la guerre. Œuvre conforme aux photos et à la description. Très satisfait de mon acquisition!

I have long followed this artist’s work, and had purchased a painting from him previously. As soon as I purchased this work, he contacted me and gave a timeframe for shipping. Only a week later, the painting arrived, secure in a wooden crate! This was unexpected given the distance from which it came. The painting was so carefully protected by the elaborate packing within. After peeling away the layers of styrofoam sheeting, I released the painting, and found it to be even more exuberant and beautifully rendered than it appeared on the website. It is a humorous homage to a famous Francis Bacon painting. I am so honored to have another work by this talented artist. He is also a consummate professional as a seller of his work. I look forward to following his artistic path.

This artist packages his artwork better than any other artist I know. The piece was delivered very quickly (considering the military conflict in Ukraine). The artist communicated with me during the shipment process and Artfinder also sent me an update when the package was shipped. The artwork is beautiful and arrived perfectly intact (again, this is impressive considering the chaos and destruction going on in the area). The overall experience was fantastic. I would definitely order from this artist again.

The oil-painting was dispatched in a wooden box immediately after the purchase. I received it well wrapped within three days. "Still think about you" was accurately described at artfinder.com. The communication was helpful and friendly. Therefore, I recommend Mr. Balbyshev. I´m happy, that I bought this quite interesting, nicely colored piece of art-work.
