Biography
Hello!
I am a painter and book illustrator. I like to draw, dream, go to the mountains, be by the sea and listen to music. I like to organize multi-day plein airs, where I am completely focused on painting.
I studied at the Moscow Textile University and interned at the Repin Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg.
Color plays an important role in my work, and subjects can be realistic or completely abstract, serving as a cue to allow the viewer to use their imagination. Dynamic themes are one of my favorites.
My illustrations have contributed to the creation of more than 10 books, including authors such as Leo Tolstoy, Alexandre Dumas, Jack London, etc. Currently, I am focused on classical works, but I also hope to work with contemporary authors.
I live in Finland with my husband and daughter and a fluffy Sheltie dog.
