About Henry Clayton

  • Biography
I am a photographer of around 20 years professional experience, originally starting out in events and wildlife whilst working at the zoological society of London but have since evolved into shooting more fine art nudes and landscape work whilst at the same time being present at protests and street level.

My work has been exhibited across the UK and Europe and some of my flagship pieces through Saatchi over recent years.

Ninjaprints is my trading name and own personal brand which was initially launched through the support of the Prince's Trust charity some years ago and more recently through New Enterprise to focus on printmaking and giclee production.

All prints I sell here are from limited runs and produced using an Epson 3880 large format professional printer and archival standard authentic inks, this should give prints an approximate life expectancy of up to 100 years.  Papers used are a hand picked selection of top quality fine art mediums though I also use some more budget canvas textured papers for images mounted onto blocks.

    My ongoing projects include:

"Time Stands Still" - An erotic focused project working with every-day female models, I generally shoot at the models homes and do not apply any pressure for nudity or states of undress, the project is based around individual expressions of erotica and each model dictates the shoot and how they wish to express themselves.  All models I shoot with are donated a 25% stake of the profits and the final project is designed for book publication and large scale exhibition.  A further 8 shoots will be carried out to complete the project.

"Burn Eden" - A black and white focus on body art and modification

"Travels with my Shrink" - A visual and written dark satirical travel book from an extended trip around India, ongoing writing but all visual content already captured.
