About Nina Hunter
Biography
Nina is an oil painter, pianist, illustrator, and founder of Saltaire Art School. Her creative life on the edge of the river Aire in Yorkshire resembles much of the philosophy she’s exploring on the canvas.
With a MA Degree in Fine Arts and Design Nina spent the first 15 years of her career pursuing a successful career in Illustration. However, the desire to paint has always resided in Nina's heart and after life-changing events in 2019, she decided to follow her passion and purpose and dedicate her life to oil painting.
Residing in her bohemian riverside home in the picturesque village of Saltaire, Nina pursues her exploration of the divine feminine on canvas, as well as works freelance on selected illustrative campaigns, and teaches art in the evenings.
