About Nikolay Zlatanov

Nikolay Emilov Zlatanov is a professional Bulgarian contemporary artist. In 2002 he graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Sofia with master degree in Fine Art Printmaking. Ever since his graduation he has participated in many group exhibitions in Bulgaria, EU and Japan. He has won some prestigious art awards, like first prize from the Academy for fine art in 1996, first prize from the Ministry Of Culture of Greece for best printmaking artwork, first prize for best printmaking artwork at the international art festival in Gabrovo in 2000, first prize for best printmaking artwork from the prestigious Sv. Sv. Kiril i Metodiy Fondation Award in 2000 and many others. He has large experience in stage design too, as he has been working on many Bulgarian and Hollywood film productions, shot in the country and in association with the Bulgarian Boyana Film Studios.
