Conceptual, modern or classic - at first glance the sculptures and installations of Nikolay Nedev might look very different from one another. However, once you get to know what moves and inspires the artist, then suddenly it all comes together and you discover the connection between all his work.

Nikolay’s collection represents his uniquely artistic and conceptual research into the visual forms of nature. In particular – studying the cosmic natural laws and applying their definition into shaping matter to reflect both the living and intimate components of these innate life code. This art study goes even a step further, in some works, by comparing micro biological forms of life to human behaviour (Virus series) and behavioral patterns in general.
Always looking for the deeper meaning, Nikolay has immense respect for all of the types of nature that surrounds us. In his work, he is not afraid to criticize what he sees as the wrong direction in the way of understanding our world and instead strives to live in symbiosis with it. Deeply concerned about the ecological health of our planet and ourselves, Nikolay finds art as one of the most powerful tools for building a better world.
