Biography
Speedyegg Art was born in 2012 with the first sale of a painting on eBay and subsequent commissions, although I have painted on and off as a hobby for many years.
My Inspiration and ideas are drawn from many sources, but my biggest source of inspiration comes from my home. London is a rich source of iconic and memorable images but I am also inspired by the poise and movement of animals and the sea, and the beauty of natural forms such as trees and flowers.
I am influenced by the realism genre; I revel in detail and recreating depth and perspective on canvas. I paint predominantly in oils although I have also used pastels, watercolour and acrylic paints in the past.
