We really love both Nelly's painting and the frame. It's been beautifully made with this huge horizon, blue-and-golden sky, farmers' fields and the pretty red roofs. For us, it depicts the lovely landscape of the part of our country in which Nelly resides. Being 'polder'-dwellers and -lovers ourselves, we really appreciate and admire her quirky take on this vast, open, special countryside. We'll enjoy it every day, thank you Nelly!

This painting is wonderful. I love the colors and light. And the touch of whimsy in the clouds. This is the first work I've acquired from Nelly van Nieuwenhuijzen and I imagine it won't be the last.
