About Neha Soni

  • Biography
Neha is a self-taught artist. She was an introverted, shy child who was reluctant to demonstrate her passion in art. As a result, the majority of her artwork went unappreciated by others. However, she persisted in her artistic endeavours since doing so made her happy and kept her motivated. However, fortunately, things improved following her marriage. Through several online courses, she developed her sketching and drawing skills. She also spent some time working as a digital artist. She performed on a few websites and discovered that art may be lucrative as well.

She eventually decided to focus her learning on watercolor. She attributes it to the way in which colors and layers mimic life and also the fact that she can express herself best using watercolor.

She has painted on a variety of subjects and landscape, water bodies, nature, birds & flowers inspire her the most. Of late, she has been painting on certain subjects that she thinks strongly believes in. Do check her collection on "Endangered Species"! One of her artwork called "Deforestation" was shortlisted among the finalists at "Portraits from the Precipice: a worldwide art movement to save the planet". It was a proud moment for multiple reasons, but primarily... it gave her an opportunity to say what she wants to say through art. As an artist, she really cherishes moments like these. She intend to create more in the coming times.
