    'Late Afternoon G&T' in progress

    I thoroughly enjoyed working on this painting! I love creating backgrounds for my paintings with patterned papers before I start. It looks so interesting before I've even. made my marks! This little painting was inspired by G&T on a late Sunday afternoon with my hubby. As you can see in this photo, this is just the beginning where I've just painted around the shapes with a beautiful pale blue colour.     Work in progress on 'Kitchen Herbs'

    This photo is taken when I was working on my lino reduction print 'Kitchen Herbs.' I'm really pleased with this one; so much detail and so much cutting out. I love the greens and blues that grew with this Lino print. I used six colours in total on this Lino print.     Pina Colada

    Pina Colada

    I was gifted a delicious pineapple which inspired me to do some drawing and put this in a little painting. Who knew a pineapple could be so complex to draw? The good thing about being an artist is that things like this really make you pay attention to all the little details! Here's a photo of me playing with colour and getting to know the pineapple.     'Only Way is Up' in progress

    Here is my lino reduction print in process; third colour just going on what will be an eleven colour Lino print! I absolutely loved creating this one despite the spiral staircase making me go a bit cross eyed! To see the finished Lino print, have a look at the 'Only Way is Up' in my shop. Hope you like it!

    Me at Work!

    Me at Work!

    This is one of my latest lino reduction prints; This one is of 'Agapanthus' a gorgeous flower blossoms every summer in a pot in our garden. Come rain or shine, this flower comes through every year! In this photo, I'm just starting to cut out what I want to keep white before applying any ink. For this Lino print, I used six colours and this is part of a small edition of 12. See the finished 'Agapanthus' in my shop and hope you like it as much as I do!
