About Natalia Ostapenko

  • Biography
My art path started since I was 6 years old and entered my first art school. In 2013 I graduated with a Master of Arts from National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. Before moving to France, I exhibited regularly in Ukraine and had two solo exhibitions in Tbilisi, Georgia. 2021 started for me with an article about my work in the French magazine ‘’Artmajeur’’, April group exhibition with London Paint Club, article in Canadian magazine ‘’Divide’’ British ''Blue Bee Magazine'', Al-Tiba9 from Barcelona and "Vanity Fair UK".

Up to the end of September I'm participating in a group show within Monat Gallery in Madrid and recently I exhibited my works at Paris Expo Art Fair. My work is held within private collections in the US, UK, Singapore, Denmark, Germany, France, Georgia and Ukraine.

My main source of inspiration is Nature, and it's the main subject in my work. For me, transforming landscapes and various states of nature into abstract geometry is really exciting and challenging. I always think about how each painting can work in an interior, as an important element of the living area. Maybe that's why in general my colour palette is quite bright and vibrant, cause I hope it gives positive vibes.
