About Nandini Verma

I have grown up seeing my mother do a number of artistic and creative crafts. I have grown up being in absolute awe of how art can make people feel. For me, it has been a medium to express myself and show others what sometimes words cannot. Through years i have met many artists who have inspired me to my core and have been immersed in the richness of cultures around me. I am deeply inspired by the Indian traditions and tribal lives. After having made full fledged series on the same , I felt the need and desire to dive into wider scopes of art like abstract. It fascinates me that one artwork can be interpreted by so many people so differently. Though i had done abstract before, it is only in the recent times i developed a distinct and whole hearted inclination for it. Most of my abstract artworks are inspired by my sense of belonging to my tribal surroundings and indian upbringing but as mentioned they are way more than any confining limit. I admire the community on Artfinder and would be grateful if i was to be a part of it. Art defines me in several aspects and it completes me as a human being. Through your esteemed gallery i want to share my work with others and widen my horizons.
