  • Come take a studio-tour here in our eco-village (Jan 2021)

My Studio-situation is zero glamour. Summer 2019 I took a gigantic leap of faith when I jumped from city life to .... abandoned mill-town life as a starting settler of a new community. That huge change of priorities stopped the making of art for a good 6 months, So many basic human needs needed to be covered first! It took me another year to get myself settled enough in the housing and rebuilding situation to get myself a painting space in that little village as well. But finally my need to create beauty and express my inner self was so huge that it overcame the other priorities, and the group granted me this little wonky space to paint in. It's temporary, but it's a great place to be for now. I am posting this about exactly 1 year after getting my easel settled there. And I know now: I wouldn't have been able to continue living here, with all the intensity that implies community living, if it wasn't for this creative hide-out! I am also so grateful for all the beautiful inspirations and expressions that I have gotten here! It looks like that now I am getting nearer to what I feel my life-goal is (creating a different, more harmonious society), my creative flow has stepped one notch up too! Come take a peek where I paint your beloved art!

How to paint sensual pop art / urban art orange lips in 11 seconds.

A (very) short fast forward video that my camera shot whilst I painted these sweet, soft orange lips on a yellow background. In the far corner you can also see a few small paintings hanging. The view shows how I always tend to paint the sides as well, in order to make a very "ready to hang" artwork for my collectors.

Me painting 1 of the 7 sins: Greed

It was summer when I painted this painting in a studio that was very, very when the sun would shine on it's flat roof. Still one of my favorite paintings, though, and still available as well!

Time-laps video of the making of "iolina".

Work in progress. Or the fastforward movie of the making of the urban pop art painting titled "iolina". Painted with acrylics and dripping done with synthetic enamel. See the process it takes for me to paint an artwork. Note by the different light and clothes that this artwork took me about 4 days. Enjoy this 2,5 minutes show behind the curtains.
