About Modestas Mykolaitis

I was born in 1969 in Kaunas (Lithuania). I enjoyed drawing since I was a child, later I went to art school and studied architecture. I tried painting with acrylic paint, pencil and mixed techniques, but eventually I discovered watercolor paint and became aware of the opportunities that it offers. I am interested in various topics: landscapes, still lifes, I draw people and animals. I find inspiration in my surroundings: people, nature. I wish that in today's unstable world my works would spread warmth, goodness, tranquility and positive emotions. Since 2014 I participate in various art exhibitions on national and regional level. My favourite hobby is playing the violin.
