About Mike Dudfield

Hello,

My name is Mike Dudfield. I am an artist living near Winchester in England, UK.

My great passions are windsurfing and painting. I like to splash colour onto the canvas and create a painting that evokes a happy or excited emotion or a painting that triggers a memory. I particularly like to paint seascapes and figures.

I love what I do and I’m proud of the images that I create.

I work with both oil and acrylics. Usually I use oil when I do portraits and figures but for seascapes, landscapes and still life’s I often use both – starting with acrylics often with modelling paste to get texture and finishing with oil. I always use fine art materials for paint, canvas, varnish and brushes to ensure the best quality.
