Hello! My name is Mariia Ignatkina.
One of my favorite areas of painting is the seascape. Since childhood, I love the sea and everything connected with it. Sea and ocean surf cannot be compared to the flow of a river. It gives peace to the soul, brings it into harmony with the surrounding world. Of course, if you live on the shore, you don't need to go far. It is enough to look out the window and here it is - next to it. Exciting, alive ... I live far from the sea, but I found a way out for myself - I can paint the sea, add a particle of my soul and mood to the image, and convey the volume of the wave with paints. Depending on my mood and state, I can create and share with you raging elements, storm waves, a thunderstorm over the ocean, or the calm surface of the sea on a quiet day or moonlit night. One of my favorite themes is sunsets at sea when the sun slowly plunges into the water. Each person at this moment experiences something of his own, personal. I love the realistic style of painting, but I also often bring a share of romanticism and admiration for the beauty of nature into my paintings. I was born and live in Moscow. I graduated from a humanities institute but later decided to change my direction and take up painting seriously. I studied with private teachers, spent a lot of time at the easel, persistently honing my skills. I am a participant and winner of Russian and international exhibitions. My works adorn private collections all over the world (Russia, Italy, China, France, USA, Montenegro). I am a member of the International Art Fund and the Professional Union of Artists.
I would be very glad if you like my paintings and possibly become a part of your life.
