About Michele D'Avenia

I feel the passion to follow and capture daily beauty and surroundings with the intent to touch, not only my own emotions whilst creating art but the admirers emotions. Michele D'AVENIA Born in Sesto San Giovanni (Milan) on 09/12/1964. He did not follow a course of artistic studies, and only after high school did he enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria and attend the Scuola Libera del Nudo, for a short time. Disappointed by this experience, he detached himself from it to autonomously begin his study of pictorial techniques and the study of past masters. Hence his interest in the decoration and restoration of ancient paintings. He therefore begins his collaboration with specialized laboratories. He is actively part of the national artistic panorama, participating in numerous group exhibitions and setting up important personal exhibitions throughout the national territory and abroad. Many of his paintings and sculptures are part of important private and public collections.
