Event: Singapore Calligraphy Centre Chinese Ink painting class exhibition

A showcase of the work of the students who are learning at the centre. This is the class's second exhibition after 14 years!.
Biography
I paint in the medium of Chinese Ink for the love of preserving this traditional art form and the value it imparts. Chinese painting has not been a very popular art form outside of China but it deserved to be made more well known. Every painting composed of the main theme and calligraphy, sometimes poem or just a thought of why the painting was done this way. They tell a story or a philosophical thought the artist wanted to convey. With 5000 years of history, the positive values, heritage and thoughts made the art more intriguing.
I hope to share my love of Chines painting and share the interesting stories behind very painting.
