  • Biography
I have always been creative and have been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. With my love of animals and all things art related it was a natural progression to combine the two and forge a career doing what I love the most. I live in the UK in a beautiful part of the country very close to the famous River Wye in rural Herefordshire. It is a lovely area and perfect for walking my beloved dogs whilst mulling over my next art project. Drawing has always played an essential part of my artistic journey. The area in which I live inspires me with my animal and wildlife art but I am also fascinated with how the humble graphite pencil can create a beautiful piece of art.  I am mainly self-taught although I have attended a few short class art courses over the years. My preferred mediums to work in are  pastels and acrylics but I do like to sometimes go back to watercolours, something I enjoyed working with years ago. I find my work is always evolving and I enjoy taking myself out of my comfort zone and tackling different subjects as the mood takes me.
The commission work that I undertake are of pets and people and these are drawn in either graphite or pastels. I have drawn many pets, mainly in pastels and these have been shipped all over the world.  Please have a look at the art work I have for sale and I hope you find something that you like.
