    The objects in this arrangement are specific to me. The sunflowers represent the fields surrounding the area where my parents originate from in Italy. The closed Italian cookery book represents the end of my restaurant life. The coffee pot stands above the cookery book as coffee was king in our business and the coffee cup is from a beautiful set of coffee cups my grandparent's gave to my mother. Yellow backdrop, because I like it.

    I am very pleased with this painting. The colours are almost exactly the same as the set-up. Its always difficult to photograph a still-life and a painting side-by-side because of the spot lights.
