About Matt Micallef
Biography
Art and Design have been part my life ever since i can remember. I have a passion for shape, form and colour. My education in this field started at school and progressed to where I was able to keep teaching myself and always improving my work. I don't tend to stick to one style, even though I may develop it for a while. I'm always exploring new territory within my own potential. I have found acrylics to be the most versatile medium for my work, however I have used other mediums too. I generally use brushes and palette knives for my work. A few artists that inspire me are, local Maltese artist Luciano Micallef, and foreign artists, Francoise Nielly and Voka. All masters of colour and technique.
