About Mary Kemp
Biography
I’m Mary Kemp,
artist, painter, family stalwart, nature lover, garden obsessive and
fan of wide open spaces.
My style is mainly impressionistic but I get waylaid by wild colours and sumptuous textures so sometimes it tips over to abstract.
Most of my pieces start from the feelings that hit me when I visit somewhere or walk amid a beautiful garden. The natural world should be celebrated and let into our homes in all it’s glory.
I work mainly in oils because they are the most luxurious of all mediums and give me the vibrancy that I want.
