    My technique is quite simple really, I start with the backwash colours (which is my favourite part) because it's from here where I can see the next stage of the painting in my minds eye. I then take a deep breath and try to apply the most difficult part which is the composition of the piece (pictured). When I'm happy with that, the fun part begins adding the details and final colours.

    The sun is shining in Mallorca but it's still a bit chilly, hence the hat (well it Is Febuary after all) Here I am working on my latest piece 'As The Siren Sings' a follow up to 'Song of the Siren'

    There is a huge amount of detail in this hand painted mural, which took me five days to complete. I also changed my style for this in that I added the background AFTER drawing out and painting in all the characters. A very enjoyable piece to work on though, and is still very popular with their customers I'm told. Painted in Acrylics direct to the wall.
