About Mr B

Hi I'm Mark and I produce original hand-painted acrylic paintings on canvas.

Having been a designer for 36 years, I spend most of my time creating designs for multi national companies on the computer, which is very creative, but painting gives me the opportunity to go back to basics, to create original pieces, taking me back to what inspired me to get into the arts in the first place so many, many, many years ago.

I find there’s nothing more enjoyable than painting in my studio, with my dog Lily next to me and my jukebox blaring out the songs from my past.

I am currently working on paintings in the genre of TV, movies, and pop icons inspired by all those old TV shows, characters and pop stars I loved as a kid and still enjoy.

I think art should be colourful, fun, and make people smile, so I endeavour to create quirky and fun pieces.

I will also be adding various other subjects to my collection, so stay tuned!
