Biography
I am a professional artist with over 25 years of experience in exhibition and sales.
I’m a Member of IWS Globe and International Art Fund. My paintings are held in private and museum collections around the world.
In recent years I have been painting mainly with watercolors. This media made me fall in love with myself, and I no longer want to go back to oil. Watercolor allows you to paint quickly while maintaining a fresh impression. This is exactly what travel requires.
Traveling is my passion. I was in many countries and everywhere I painted in the open air, I brought a lot of artworks with me.
Lately I've been thinking for the subject that would inspire me to paint in my studio, away from nature. And I found it. This is tango. The portraits of people dancing the Argentine tango! Tango is my second passion after travel, I have been dancing the tango for 13 years. It turned out that there are only a few artists who portray tango, and even less of those who know it from the inside. Therefore, my portraits of dancers are in demand in the huge international community of tango lovers.
My education (excluding the many workshops of world-class watercolorists):
1989-1994 - Art college, Vladivostok, Russia, bachelor of art teaching.
1996-2001 - National Pedagogical University, Khabarovsk, Russia, Faculty of Fine Art and Graphic, magister of Fine Arts.
