  • Biography

    My name is Marina Deryagina (nickname RozMarin). I am a full-time artist, who can't imagine a day without painting. I live and create in Nicosia in my own small studio. 

    I work with oil on high-quality linen canvases, and use brushes, and a palette knife. I like to create a series of works with a common theme, each of them includes about 20 artworks. This year I painted 4 series: two collections of miniatures «Antique Toys» and «Istanbul», painted with oil on structural cartons on vacation, and two larger size collections «Trees» and «still-Lifes».

     Working with series helps me to express myself as an artist and keep the audience's attention by inviting them to a dialogue. It also makes me a hard-working artist who is inspired by what I see around me: people, feelings, animals, and nature. All artworks are original and made in my technique.
