About Marie Brown

  • Biography
I have always enjoyed art and I love animals, combining them both together was like a light bulb moment and one that changed my life! I work from photographs, and I seek out images that give me an emotional reaction and that make me feel compelled to re-create it.  My artistic interpretation brings me appreciation towards that animal and the world that we live in. In turn, I like to think my artwork sends this message to the viewer and helps them also feel the same adoration that I do. I have been developing my drawing skills in pencil for 20 years, working in a realistic style. I also enjoying using other mediums, most recently I enjoy a looser style watercolour painting, alongside my detailed drawings.
