About Marian Fannon Christian

Nothing inspires me more than a beautiful sheet of white paper or fresh white canvas which presents a whole world of possibilities. I am a British/Irish painter, photographer and draftswoman whose work has featured in exhibitions, publications and collections throughout the UK, Ireland, Asia and USA. With a restless soul, my art is in part a response to my constant need for change and experimentation, an opportunity to regularly reinvent myself. For me, the most important thing in a work of art is a sense of movement, I want my finished works to combine both wildness and simplicity, serenity and impact.
