Participate with my painting "Girl with peaches".
“Girl with peaches” by Valentine Serov is one of the most
famous russian paintings. It’s been copied countless times,
but mostly these copies are the same look as original work.
My idea was to use elements and colors of original painting,
but create a piece which looks like independent painting and
not obviously copy an original work. On a first look you are
not noticing that this is a “copy”, but after proper look you
see more and more details which related my “Girl with
peaches” to “Girl with peaches” by Valentin Serov.
Biography
I’ve graduated from Moscow state Stroganov academy of design and applied arts.
My studio is in the countryside in small town near Moscow, closeness to nature inspire me to paint nature related objects. I create my paintings mostly with oil, but usually I “spice” my paintings with some uncommon type of oil such as metallic oil, oil with coarse grind pigments or with ink and markers.
My artworks are in private collections in Russia, USA, Europe and Asia.
