About Maria D'Angelo

  • Biography
"To me, there is no greater reward than bringing happiness to people through my art."

Maria has been creating art since she was a child. She has always loved animals and was constantly inspired by them, particularly horses. She's most recognized for her drawings of the horse and many of her original works are offered in galleries and exhibited in art and museum shows around the USA. She also loves to draw wildlife and flowers.

She works in multiple mediums but the pencil is, by far, her favorite tool of choice.
"I love the control and detail I can attain with a pencil."
Her drawings are unique in that they are mounted on panels and sprayed with multiple layers of a special coating so they do not need to be framed under glass.

"If you'd like to purchase a piece of art for your home or office or have been thinking of having a portrait done of a beloved pet or loved one whether for yourself or as a gift, I would love to help create the perfect piece of art for you!"
