About Maria Karalyos

I am a  painter who lives in Turda, a small town in Transylvania, Romania.

Art,for me,is a way to externalize feelings and emotions-is the bond that is created between me and other people without using words,is a way to show everyone a different world,a world hidden in your heart.

I do not consider myself a painter defined by a style or another, but inclined more towards abstract and realism style.

I enjoy painting more cityscape, but I attract the beauty of flowers and landscapes and the loveliness birds or animals.

The world around us is an endless source of inspiration, as our imagination and soul.

I put my heart in each of my works and if they make someone happy and I mean they are happy.

 I am painting  with oil as well with  watercolors and acrylic . I'm also experimenting with brush strokes , artist knifes and other professional instruments.

In all my artworks I primarily aspire to show the beauty and the harmony of the world.

In 2008 I became a member of the Artists Association of Cluj
