About Maria Egorova

  • Biography
“Human feelings and deep emotional conditions have always been a slightly opened door to the backstage world of our life, where I’d like to take a closer look. Making art about people gives me a chance to experience their emotions and go through what they had to pass through to get a better understanding of freedom, love, and art in various moments. I have passed the classic Russian academic school of painting, which continues the high traditions of Western European classic art school. I have a deep interest in modern art, theatre, and ballet that are endless sources of artistic dynamics and inspiration for my art.

The plain air landscape is also a big part of the process of my emotional comprehension of a certain place, where an artist can show not only nature itself but the subtle impression of its observer. My art is presented in various techniques such as painting on canvas, mixed techniques, and graphic media.”
