About Margarita Verner
Biography
My name is Margarita, I am an artist and creator currently based in the vibrant city of Prague, Czech Republic.
I've been painting since my childhood, and all my life I’ve been very passionate about art. I'm captivated by the beauty of the world around me, by the nature, and moments of day to day life, and also I'd like to see some magic and mystery in everything that surrounds us and I'm trying to express those feelings through my art.
My love for seascapes, mystery, portraits and nature has only deepened over time, enriched by travels and continuous exploration of new techniques and materials. Watercolor has become my medium of choice lately, offering a unique synergy between the artist and the tools. This delicate medium teaches me patience, intuition, and the importance of thinking ahead. It is not something to be mastered but rather something to collaborate with, leading to the creation of art that resonates with both heart and soul. But of course as any other artistic soul, I am in love with all other painting techniques and materials like oil paints, texture paste and acrylics, ink, pencil and charcoal drawing, exploring and learning and trying something new every time by combining them all together and discovering all opportunities they can offer. My work has been featured in a lot of exhibitions and Art Festivals all around Europe, like Fabriano, USK fests, etc. I am also myself one of the four co-founders and organizers of the Prague Pleinair Internacional Watercolor Festival, an event dedicated to bringing together fellow artists and friends to celebrate the beauty of Art and painting together in the heart of this historic city. I am honored that my paintings are part of private collections across the globe, in places like the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Italy, Norway, the Netherlands, the USA, Latin America, etc. I would love to be a part of the Artfinder artists community, so more people could see my art, because I believe that my art can bring some joy and happy feelings to people in this world.
