Art comes from within, this is nothing new, if it is not pushed out, if an artist isn’t able to show his works, if he has not allowed himself to be contaminated his work dies with him. Art is a profession, it needs to be seen and sold. The new problems, like covid 19, they have put the system in crisis and we still don't know how it will end. My work is not easy, I don't do decorative painting because it comes from life and life is far from simple! I draw my bodies quickly, instinctively, my draw germinates through rough lines and erasures. The signs come from deep inside and make their way in withe canvas. Bodies trying to surface to be seen. There is no narration, no horizon line to establish a before and an after, the scene is a white space where the shapes are the result of second thoughts. Even the color is not always so strong! My painting does not loud even if it screams that there is something underneath, hidden and won't come to the surface that easily! But those forms are thoughts that I could not remember, incomplete or not quite mature, it is my way of reasoning and of living. Sometimes it's all so close to poetry!
