Biography
Marcello Mancuso is an Italian sculptor born in Bergamo. He studied art at the A. Fantoni art school in Bergamo and began his journey into sculpture while working at one of the main artistic foundries in the city. This experience allowed him to collaborate with some of the most important local sculptors
Mancuso’s work is known for its intricate detail and emotional depth. He has mastered various techniques, including patination, lacquering, and gilding on wood and metal. His sculptures often explore themes of resilience, memory, and the human condition
Some of his notable works include:
“Fraternitas”: A sculpture that embodies themes of brotherhood and unity. “Serie Dilatazione Illimitata”: A series exploring the concept of unlimited expansion. “Resilienza”: A piece that delves into the idea of resilience and strength.Mancuso is also the owner of the Antica Fonderia d’Arte MAF Milano, a historic art foundry in Milan that has become a creative hub for new ideas and experimentation.
