  • Biography

     

    Before moving to France ten years ago I ran a small Gallery & Framing business in Sussex . I took part in many exhibitions during this period , notably with "THE ROYAL INSTITUTE OF PAINTERS IN WATERCOLOUR " at the Mall Galleries London 2001 - 2002 . During this period I completed many Murals for Restaurants & private Houses .In 2002 I painted the front cover for Hampton's International French Guide .

    Most recently, in January 2015, I exhibited at the Mall Galleries London for the " Artist of the Year Exhibition 2014 " where I was one of the fifty Artists selected .
    I moved to France to devote more time to my Painting . 

    In 2005 I was Artist in Residence at "Galerie Thuillier " Paris . Since then I have taken part in many Exhibitions , some of which are noted below ;

    Galerie Mercure Béziers 2006 , X11 Salon D'Art Plastiques Florensac 2006 ,Beaux Arts de Béziers 2007 , Auberges de Bessilles 2007 , Invité d'honneur Chateau Laurens 2008 . I  hold Exhibitions in my Studio & welcome visitors at any time .I also run painting courses for Adults & Children in the Village where I live .
    France has always been an inspiration to me & I try to capture the ambiance of life here through the wonderful Architecture & Café fronts with their strong colours & often shabby appearance .
