I fell in love with Asturias from the moment I first saw it. There was something very familiar about the green, unspoiled landscape and its huge potential for exploration! There are so many microcosms of life, textures and colours and new connections to translate into my own artistic language. My paintings express my love for exploring colour and texture and in this exhibition I'm also coming back to my artistic roots using fibre and natural materials to tell my story and provide a sense of connection to the environment around me.

Biography
Hi! I'm a full-time mixed-media artist with a passion for bold, vibrant abstraction and a deep connection to nature. My artistic journey began at a very young age, when I was captivated by making things out of sticks, rocks, and mud. This early fascination with the natural world and creating with my hands led me to study art in the university town of Lublin, Poland, where I spent a decade immersed in art, inspired by the post-war avant-garde movement.
Over the years, my life has taken me from Poland to Cambridge, England, then Switzerland, and now to the beautiful, rural landscapes of Asturias, Spain, where I live with my family. Each place has influenced my work in its own unique way.
For me, art is a continuous journey of discovery and self-exploration. Every place I’ve lived has left its mark on me and my work. Moving between countries has opened my eyes to new cultures and ideas, which fuel my creativity and challenge me to delve deeper into the kind of art I want to create. It’s all about finding beauty in the experiences that shape us—both the cracks and the polish that come with life’s adventures.
As a mixed-media artist, I love experimenting with textures, materials and techniques, and I'm always looking for new ways to bring my abstract visions to life. My work is a reflection of how our environments and experiences shape us, and I often use abstraction to express the patterns and emotions that emerge along the way. Whether through vibrant colours or gentle, wistful tones, my art speaks to the continuous process of exploration and growth that defines both my life and my creative practice.
