About Lucian Richards

I have worked for many years in various media, including photography, art glass, woodworking, and acrylics.  Recently I have worked in dimensional wall art and am now concentrating on acrylics on canvas. Color and texture is very important in the overall theme and direction each piece takes  I love color and design, the endless possibilities for interpretation and the need to share my vision and joy in creating art. Inspiration for working in this medium comes from many styles of the early 20th century, Abstract Expressionism, Cubism, Art Deco, as well as photographing nature in its symmetry and color. In creating art, I wish to bring to life visions of color and form that will inspire those who experience it.
